OFFICE LADY IN FASHION DRESS ♥

Hi Dearies!

Let us start by doing some mathematic here, in a week we have 7 days and I roughly round up that most of the office employee works on Monday untill Friday which is 5 days, left only 2 days for our personal outing or resting at home. 

To make things clearer maybe I should do it this way;  7 days(a week) – 5 days(working days) = 2 days (personal day). I think we have crystal clear on this and my point on doing this is because I wanted to share with you my thought that if you only choose to wear your pretty dresses in the closet only during off days which I assume on the weekend, most probably your dresses are weeping in the closet now.

So instead of restrict all the dresses can only be put on during weekends, why not wearing it to office? Maybe some of you think is too over to wear it into the office but here is what I think; you start wearing dress to work on this week, next week you’ll start to see more people wearing dress to work. Voila! You have start the trend instead of waiting for the trend to start in the company.

As for those that have lots of dress just that it doesn’t seem like is appropriate to wear it to office no worries because you’re not weird and is normal since many faces the same problem. My advice is get some cardigan/jacket/blazer which enhance the formal image and you still get to wear your favorite dress in the office!

Like I have mention in previous post, life can be dull or fun and is all up to you. Simply by just dressing up makes you feel better and enjoy your day more won’t hurt doing it everyday. I am not saying that we should dress up like we are going for magazine shoot or maybe TV interview, just dress up that will out a smile on your face when you look at the mirror.

Hey office lady out there!

Another week has gone and another week to go so does the work that is compiling on your desk, another done and come another few that need to be done. Work life means never ending work to all adults and the only reason that keeps you still going back to the office is because you have to survive.

Well that is kind of the ugly truth of life but hey, doesn't mean we can't color our life a little bit. Each day when you wake up and don't feel kike going to work get up and go look into your sanctuary, your closet. First of all I will like to say sorry to all Ugly Betty fans out there as I would like to say going to office can be a little bit more fun when you dress up more and be smart in appearance and not like Ugly Betty.

Like I usually start my introduction, my favorite high waist skirt! Well to tell you another secret I use to think high waist skirt is 'aunty' wear and it turns out I have to slap myself to even have this kind of thought before. In turn high waist skirt is so easy to match with any formal top and still look smart and professional and main thing is it doesn't make my leg look short! Maybe you are thinking that I am exaggerating so just let me just show you some pictures.

I have to admit that I kind of mention silk most of the time and the reason I am doing it is because I think is easy as it doesn't need to be iron! Maybe is just me but if we can save some time in iron and to place the time more on the mirror looking at yourself why not? Alright maybe not spending it by looking at the mirror but you can do something else plus it saves the electric bill and is eco-friendly. However as for top naturally you get something that matches your personality then you can really start your working day with great mood.

SHORTY IS BUDDY! ♥

I don’t ask you to picture yourself on the beach because I am pretty sure that you are experiencing the hot weather since we are living in a hot country, Malaysia. I don’t know about others but actually I like the hot weather because somehow it makes me feel like it's summer everyday. Do you think so? But then again, when it is getting WAY over heat, we will think of the same thing to wear and what we definitely need are SHORTS AND A SIMPLE TOP!

Sometimes we have to look a little bit lazy with casual yet summerish look and leave all the dress in your closet for other higher end occasions. We all know how important short pants and a tank top meant to us when it comes to SUMMER look.

Short might be casual but not as simple as you think as these days there are so many different kind types of pants. For instance, high waist pants! For your information, people claim that their legs look longer in high waist pants so it’s very good news for those body length are longer than their leg. At the same time high waist pants can also match simply with any silk top or maybe tank top and you are ready to walk down any streets.

Sometimes I just don’t understand why some shopping malls' air conditioning so cold?! So, I found another thing to match with pants which I don’t know whether to thank the temperature they set in the shopping mall.

I don’t know I am imagining of having delusion but thanks to my team mates I can know tell you that pairing a simple tank top and shorts with cardigan somehow gives a different aura and I am not quite sure what word to use in describing the aura. Remember last post we were talking about short pants? Now let us talk about pants but with longer length plays a different magic. Since we are living in a conservative country, we couldn't deny that long pants play vital role and definitely blouses to go along.

Given a situation, your mobile start ringing and the ID shows is your friend that stays few streets away from you calling. You answer and he/she is asking you out for a drink and mention that will be arriving in around 10 minutes! At the very brief moment, what did you think to wear? 

You must be wondering why I am asking this sort of question, this is for the reason that this situation happens all the time! In the end, it always reminds me how important it is to have a nice slim jeans and interesting blouse to go along.  Now, do you find this often happening to you too? If you do, what's more you need is more pair of jeans/long pants/legging and blouse to getaway from this frequent trouble situation.

The reason why I riskily tell you this because I want you to not tear all long pants apart just because you look short and you think you won’t get to wear long pants therefore given up on long pants.

What makes her looks taller? Do you know what is Palazzo Pants? It is a kind of long, wide pants which most of the people called it as "Latin Pants". But, actually it has become one of the fashion trends regardless of ethnicity!

Why high waist can work that magic in making your leg appears longer? There is a ploy where you trick person into thinking your legs start at a higher point by choosing a high waist. Maximize this look by tucking your shirt into your waistband or by avoiding shirts that hang too far below the waistband!! =)
